Finances: Brahmavihara/Cambodia AIDS Project is funded by dana, freely given assistance, primarily from individuals, and have since our beginning eight years ago. I remain amazed and profoundly grateful for the opprtunity this provides us.

Institutional and quasi-institutional donors have included Khane Khane (Samdech Maha Ghosanda’s foundation); Peacefuldwelling; the David G. Lennol Memorial Foundation; Goldman Sachs (employee matching grant); UNFPA (laptop); and the Women’s International Group of Phnom Penh (phone line). We recently received a personal grant for $10,000 to continue and extend our work at Phum Andong. Fireflies, a Buddhist charitable organization in Singapore expressed interest in helping us restore the Chea Chum Neas mortuary. An extremely kind person has also offered to match specifically donated funds up to a total of $6000 under a challenge grant (ask for details). Everything else, for all these years, has come from dharma centers and from individuals.

Our financial records are open for inspection by anyone who wishes to see them.
