Finances: We live on dana, freely given assistance, primarily from individuals, and have since our beginning ten years ago. I remain amazed and profoundly grateful for the opportunity this provides us.

Institutional and quasi-institutional donors have included Khane Khane (Samdech Maha Ghosanda’s foundation); Peacefuldwelling; the David G. Lennol Memorial Foundation; Goldman Sachs (employee matching grant); Firefly Mission; UNFPA; WIG; the Silicon Valley Community Foundation; and the GDG Foundation.

This year’s budget includes major necessary increases. Our budget for direct aid, 100% of which goes directly to patients as either money or material aid, has increased dramatically with the workload. The cost of living in Cambodia has also risen dramatically and staff salaries need to allow people to support themselves. Masks for multi-drug-resistant tuberculosis are expensive but we must use them, especially where patients are not adequately isolated. Transportation is also more expensive

Our financial records are open for inspection by anyone who wishes to see them.
